The Ultimate Ramadan Dua List – Duas For Protection, Health and Blessings

Preparing for the Greatest Night of the Year

Ramadan is a time of spiritual rejuvenation and closeness to Allah (SWT). As the holy month approaches, it’s the perfect opportunity to reflect on our relationship with our Creator and make sincere supplications (duas) for all that we desire.

The blessed month of Ramadan holds the greatest night of the year – Laylatul Qadr (the Night of Power). This night is equivalent to 83 years and 4 months of worship, and it’s crucial that we make the most of it by asking Allah (SWT) for all that we need.

Making a comprehensive dua list can help us stay focused and ensure we don’t miss out on anything important. Whether it’s seeking protection, praying for good health, or asking for blessings – this ultimate Ramadan dua list has got you covered.

The Power of Dua

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, “Dua is worship.” This hadith highlights the immense value and significance of supplicating to Allah (SWT). Dua is our direct line of communication with the Almighty, where we can pour out our hearts and ask for everything we need.

Dua from the Quran and Sunnah are like a “key to a lock” – they have worked before and are a reliable way to seek what we desire from Allah (SWT). However, it’s also important to remember that dua is not just a list of requests, but a form of worship that requires sincerity, humility, and total reliance on Allah.

Why Make a Dua List?

Have you ever felt overwhelmed when trying to make dua, unsure of where to start or what to prioritize? This confusion can lead to distraction, and as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Make dua and be assured of being answered, and know that Allah does not answer a dua from a careless heart which is not concentrating.” (Tirmidhi)

Just like making a to-do list helps us stay focused and productive, a comprehensive dua list can ensure that we don’t forget to ask Allah (SWT) for anything important. It allows us to allocate specific times for different categories of dua, making our supplication more organized and intentional.

The Ultimate Ramadan Dua List

This extensive dua list is a compilation of various duas that have been shared with us or found online. It covers a wide range of topics, from personal character and iman to family, health, wealth, and the Hereafter. Feel free to prioritize the sections that are most relevant to your current situation and needs.

Remember, the most meaningful duas are those that you create yourself, tailored to your unique circumstances. However, this list can serve as a valuable starting point and inspiration for those who want to ask a lot but often forget or don’t know where to begin.

For Your Character and Personality

Ya Allah, let our Iman radiate from our hearts and faces; allow our Iman to touch others’ hearts. Protect us from shirk, and help us be steadfast on Tawheed. Protect us from showing off, protect us from kibr (pride), protect us from hypocrisy, and protect us from any evil that would reduce our hard-earned deeds. Ya Allah, make us humble and respectful, and prevent us from hurting others.

Ya Allah, let me love You as You deserve to be loved, and let me fear You as You deserve to be feared. Let me leave this world serving Your creation for Your sake. Ya Allah, grant me beneficial knowledge, be it of the deen or the dunya. Help me contribute back with what You have blessed me with towards humanity at large. Help me not use my skills and knowledge in things You are not pleased with.

Ya Allah, increase me in gratitude towards You alone. Grant me softness in speech, and protect my tongue from lying, backbiting, and hurting others.

Ya Allah, grant me beautiful patience and obedience to You. Help me see my faults and cover them from others. Allow me to speak with wisdom just like the Prophet (peace be upon him). Help me be courageous, confident, and a positive person who makes the correct decisions at the right time.

Allah, help me to say words of truth in the face of the mighty. Ya Allah, protect us against the evil of our tongues and lead us to the best character.

Ya Allah, do not take away my happiness when You bless me with wealth, and when You bless me with might, do not take away my wisdom. And when You bless me with success, do not make me one of the arrogant; increase me in humility. Ya Allah, do not make me despair and feel hopeless in any defeat that comes my way.

Ya Allah, teach me to love others as I love myself. And teach me to judge myself as I judge others. And teach me that forgiveness is one of the greatest steps toward strength.

Ya Allah, Forgive my transgressions of Your commands. Ya Allah, grant me victory over my shortcomings. Oh Allah, help me conquer and stop my bad habits of over-eating and talking too much.

Ya Allah, please don’t let me forget You in this Dunya. Keep guiding my steps back to You, and grant me a heart filled with tranquility and peace. I beg that You not exclude me from Your compassion.

Ya Allah, bless me with happiness in this dunya and akhirah, protect me from sadness, depression, and anxiety.

Ya Allah, increase me in the knowledge of the deen, help me strive to understand the Quran, and other areas of knowledge just as we strive for the knowledge of the world. Translate my knowledge into actions that will help me get closer to You.

Ya Allah, bless barakah (abundance and blessings) in every pocket of my day, from the time I spend fulfilling my roles and responsibilities at home, from the time I spend learning the deen, or the time I use to work and volunteer for causes, from the time I spend with my family or the time I spend in Ibadah. Pour barakah into every fragment and section of my day and life. Help me do more and more within the limited time I have in my life before I come back to You.

Ya Allah, save me from diseases that have become a common name in every household, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, allergies, and cardiovascular issues. Save me, my body, and my mind from every form of physical and mental disease, ya Rabbi. As long as I live, save me and every part of my body that will break my strength and morale with diseases. If there is an onset, undo the damage, ya Rabbi. Help me live an active and healthy life. Help every faculty of mine age in Islam. Make workouts easy for me. This body is an Amanah (trust), help me take care of this gift and Amanah in the best way possible.

Ya Allah, we beg You to not punish us with trials and tribulations in any form, in the guise of diseases and pain due to our sins. Help us repent and make us clean slates each time we repent to You after faltering due to our nafs (desires) and the whisperings of Shaitaan. Make sins difficult and impossible for us to commit, but when we do commit, help us with tawfeeq (divine assistance) to repent in a way that it is removed from our bad deeds and record.

For Iman (Faith)

Ya Allah, purify my intentions and take away any false aspirations and intentions I may have developed. Take away the diseases of the heart. Help me to draw nearer and nearer to You as my end is close.

Ya Allah, make the Quran the light of my heart, the light of my soul, and my companion in both worlds. Ya Allah, Guide me to the Sirat al-Mustaqim (the Straight Path) until my last breath and never let me deviate into shirk, kufr (disbelief), or bid’ah (innovation). Protect me, my family, and my children and my progeny from this evil.

Ya Allah, allow our Quran and Salah (prayer) to be a barrier from hell, allow them to be a barrier from the torment of the grave. Allow them to be our ransom from hell.

Ya Allah, safeguard us from the ill effects of the Kufr (disbelieving) environment we live in. Safeguard our bodies, minds, souls, wealth, and progeny from getting corrupted.

Ya Allah, help me fast with ease, give zakat (charity) with ease, and help me visit Your house for Hajj and Umrah often.

Ya Allah, save me from lies which sadly come too easily to my tongue, save me from hypocrisy, that which will make me burn in the lowest depths of Hell.

Ya Allah, bless each and everyone who has taught me something beneficial, knowledge of this Dunya and Akhirah (Hereafter). My parents, my spouse, teachers, friends, siblings, relatives, and so on. Anybody who has lent their ears and instilled courage and tawakkul (trust) in me when I was low in life. Anybody who has helped and provided avenues to me when I was in utmost need of it. Anybody who has reminded me of Your verses and signs that reflect Your unconditional love and mercy unto me and us. Anybody who has helped me draw closer to You, bless them with khair (goodness) and aafiyah (well-being) in the matters of this world and the Hereafter.

Ya Allah, You make people means of others’ happiness; help us be Your instruments of da’wah (inviting to Islam) and support. Help us be those ideal Muslims who subconsciously inspire the hearts that are sick.

Oh Allah, make every single aspect of my life be for You and in service of Your creation. Please remove all false intentions that I have.

Ya Allah, grant me the modesty of clothing and speech in front of people who aren’t my mahram (close relatives). Help me leave behind a legacy based on humility, goodness, and the right Deen (religion).

Ya Allah, You have cursed women who get tattoos done, who pluck their eyebrows, who file them or make gaps between them for the purpose of beautification. Help us stay away from them and, if we have ever committed this, forgive us and grant us the strength to never do these again.

Ya Allah, grant me correct Aqeedah (creed), excellent memory, and an understanding of the Deen with daleel (proof). Help me in the memorization of Your word and aid me in spreading its good. Ya Allah, save me from the fitnah (trial) of people, from their force to take part in shirk, bid’ah, and occasions of extravagance.

Oh The Ever-Living, The Sustainer, I seek assistance through Your mercy, rectify all of my affairs, and do not entrust me to myself even for a blink of an eye.

Ya Allah, increase me in health, beauty, and ability. Help me manage my time in a productive manner so that when You question me about my time, I’m not ashamed of the days I’ve wasted on futile things.

Ya Allah, give me the ability to forgive all those who have hurt me in word and deed, and please help others to forgive me those I have hurt in word and deed. Heal the damage in the relationships within our families and friends. Help us reconcile with those we are not on good terms with.

Ya Allah, protect me from violating the rights of others, preserve me from this sin, and uphold me in status. Uphold me and reform me to fulfill my duties as a Muslim.

Ya Allah, please get me out of the debt that is burdening me. Please give me means that are Halal (Islamically permissible) to get out of that which bogs me down day and night. The kind of debt that will come between my good deeds and benefit me in the grave, so that I can face You on the Day of Judgment free of all debts.

Ya Allah, grant me the ability to learn, understand, write, speak, and convey the Arabic language better and better every day.

Ya Allah, bless me with Aafia (ease) and Falah (success) in everything that I do. Aafia in my health, wealth, family affairs, and the matters of my well-being.

Ya Allah, grant us the tawfeeq (divine assistance) to make istighfaar (seeking forgiveness) continuously. Give us the guidance to ask from You before we ask anyone else.

Ya Allah, reunite us with our loved ones and family in Jannah (Paradise). Whether they be related to us or not, give us the opportunity to bring people up levels to be with us in Jannah.

Ya Allah, put Shifaa (cure) in the words we utter of Yours, give Shifaa in our prayers we pray for others, give Shifaa in our hands, give Shifaa in our attempts to help others.

Ya Allah, don’t test us with loss, don’t test us with loss of lives – the loss of parents, spouses, children, siblings, family, and/or anyone close to us. Allah, do not test us with disease and sickness, don’t test us with shirk and bid’ah. Ya Allah, don’t test us with loss of lives in a way we are not able to bear, loss of health, wealth, love, relationships, and things that are valuable. Don’t test us in any way that may falter our Iman.

Ya Allah, grant me the strength to battle laziness and sleep, so I may wake up for Tahajjud (night prayer) and Fajr (dawn prayer) every day.

Allah, please keep us steadfast in our Iman at times of trials and tribulations. Do not let our emotions get the better of us.

Ya Allah, give us the ability to stand up against the wrong, give us the hikmah (wisdom) to correct the wrong in a beautiful manner, and help us not bring ill in those hearts that we wish to change.

Ya Allah, cleanse our hearts from hypocrisy, lies, grudges, and jealousy against each other. Help us love people unconditionally and help us make dua for them sincerely. Help our duas take action for others and bring barakah in our duas for them and us.

Ya Allah, guide us to ask from You, teach us the right way to make dua, teach us the way to ask that You’d never deny.

Ya Allah, do not allow Shaitaan or his followers to put discord in our relationships. Do not allow them to ruin any of our relationships, may it be between spouses, parent and child, child and parent, in-laws and extended family, student and teacher, employee and colleagues, employee and boss, between friends, sibling and sibling, and any and every other relationship known to you.

Ya Allah, help me honor people’s Amanah (trust), help me protect it as it has to be protected. Guide me to be honest and steadfast.

Allah, our ultimate return is to You, there is no escaping that. Provide for us the ability to present to You a Qalb-e-Saleem (a sound heart).

Ya Allah, grant me beautiful patience to deal with whatever trial You’ve written my way.

Ya Allah, bless me with happiness in this dunya and akhirah, protect me from sadnesses, depression, and grief. Allah, favor me with the ability to purify my soul. Ya Allah, favor me with the ability to do tazkiyah (introspection) of my soul throughout the journey of my life. Grant me the ability to return to You clean and pure.

Work, Wealth, and Sustenance

Ya Allah, provide us with job/business avenues that are halal (Islamically permissible). Help us contribute back to society in a productive way.

Ya Allah, bless me with leaders and colleagues that are just in nature – soft, who understand us and do not exploit our service unto them.

(If you are a leader/head): Ya Allah, help us understand people, their needs, help us create a positive environment for those under me to work as per Islamic guidelines. Help me pay their salaries/checks on time, just as our dear Prophet (peace be upon him) encouraged us to give the worker its due before the sweat dries. Help me treat each of them with respect and dignity and value each of their time like my own. Guide me to be a leader with tenderness in words and actions so I don’t repel them but bring them closer to Islam with my mannerisms.

Ya Allah, bless us with work that does not make us choose between our families and growth. Help us bag work or start a business that will help us prioritize our family, spouses, and children. Help us deconstruct the Western concept that work is the only thing that defines us. Help us prioritize our relationship with You, with our family, and work in the right way.

Allah, You provide – provide for us sufficient rizq (sustenance) multiplied tenfold. Provide for us in such a manner that we shouldn’t be dependent on anyone.

**Allah, You bless us with finances, then bless us with the ability to do more charity. To help those who are
